a  prolonged  siege     /     they  endure     /     fighting  against  the  forces  of  mordor.     and  when  there  is  peace  and  stillness     ,     such  opportunities  must  be  grasped.     so  concealed  in  their  alcove  that  the  world  around  them  could  almost  disappear     ,     though  neither  can  forget  the  army  that  still  threatens.     have  done  what  you  can  for  the  elves  taking  the  roll  of  warrior     /     ranks  steadfast  though  losses  hurt  no  matter  how  small.     now  you  give  time  to  the  closest  of  followers.

nevertheless  it  does  stir  within  you  something  protective  to  see  her  marked  in  such  a  way     ,     knowing  it  is  at  the  hands  of  orcs  and  the  like.          ❛  you  are  doing  so  much.  ❜          cannot  show  favoritism  in  front  of  others  but  in  such  moments  affections  come  forth.
