honestly your page in general is one of the things that consistently makes me go ...hmn... about them but i digress.

for me, it's the shut up evan podcast interview that hudson does where connor calls in with the video wearing his hat, and hudson has this stupid enamoured idiot smile on his face. it's basically shane's exact stairwell kiss expression it's insane.

also, i have platonic friends that i love and i am very tactile with, but if they ever did the finger in the shirt sleeve thing at the bar that connor does, i would be fully convinced that they were in love with me.

Learning that hudson pierced his ears *after* filming made me feel like a rabid dog, the implications………..

Connor’s “If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more.” vibes with the way he always used to repeat how technical and choreographed the sex scenes were, meanwhile he and hudson were in their trailer taking videos of themselves practicing the tornado bj with no intimacy coordinator in sight. Like I actually physically cannot.

oh we’re choosing violence w this one. yeah bc that is crazy what do you mean they were practicing privately w/o the intimacy coordinator….. like. well. actors do this of course it’s just crazy that they shared that in an interview. and the slapping. oh the slapping.

I do think it was really a handful of things that stacked onto of each other for me (the very frequent "soulmate" and "we clicked right away" talk, the way that Connor looks at Hudson at Hi-Top and in the compliment battle video, GQ photoshoot, NYE (and apparently having spent American Thanksgiving together too), the very boyfriend-feeling hiking trip photos, "he looks like he wants to pin me down and fuck me," the "if any fan could see us in the morning giving spooning hugs and telling each other how proud we are of each other [...];" the fact that you could go on and on and on with them, there are things that they have genuinely done or said in real life like the above that there are other RPF ships that have fans who have written imagined versions of these kinds of statements or events for their ship, but it's legitimately real here, but I digress). But a pair of things that really got me was the iHeartRadio Interview plus Connor's interview with Owen Thiele.

In Owen's interview, Connor talked about feeling ostracized growing up, that he "didn't match the world around [him]" and then followed it by saying that even when he moved to LA, even living in LA as an adult, that feeling of being ostracized didn't go away. I then saw the earlier pre-pandemonium iHeartRadio interview and Hudson's story of when he "fell in love with Connor as a person" (Connor's expression when Hudson says that phrase by the way? Heart eyes. Send help to me, specifically) about Connor being silly without concern of coming off cringe or weird and Hudson reacting to that with "oh, I can be myself 'cause that's in me. I can relate to whatever this is" to it and then Connor (who spent so much so much of his life not matching the world around him, shunned because of who he was) goes "You did that for me too." And I'm very much a sap that I was a goner after that point like oh there's love here genuinely.

I have genuinely nothing to say it’s like you’re in my brain. you guys have heard me wax poetic about this a thousand times. and yeah. yeah. fuck.

the way hudson’s smile immediately dropped when connor said “not saying you’re my one and only soulmate” during the cosmo interview was the thing that had me reaching for the cigarettes

the way you’re literally me. i was telling my friend about this one last night and i was like WATCH. THE WAY HIS FACE DROPS. and then the way he’s a brat about it afterward… boy got his feelings hurt just a little. like it’s soooo. and then the way connor says “you know that’s not true” like oh. not you placating him baby 🙂‍↔️

I know I left several hudcon whatdatmean moments in the tags of your post but you know what really haunts me…what on god’s green earth happened on that zoom chemistry read. “Connor felt like he was going to pin me down and fuck me,” Jacob compared it to the Zapruder film…this was a television show audition??? 

SPEAK ON IT DEL BC TRULY HOW MUCH CAN YOU DO PHYSICALLY IN A ZOOM CHEM READ…. HOW COULD YOU GLEAN THAT TYPE OF ENERGY FROM OVER VIDEO CALL… and again, what I would not give to be someone watching that zoom call unfold. to have to sit back and watch the vegas bathroom scene and just Know that they have the connection. insane.
