Many artistic liberties were taken. Also, I didn't shade because I drew four Rathas for Artfight then four Rathas for this (not counting the sketchy Rathas) and if I started shading I would have gone mad! Not really convinced about the background colours. Also, I think I'm way better at coming up with ideas than actually making these comics!

Anyway, I love exploring how grief affects a character (in this case Eira), but I also need to develop how her monsties react to it and her. Eira is a teenager who doesn't know how to cope so it's reasonable she would lash out at everything around her. And Ratha (to me!) is still the monster equivalent of a teenager, and tries but there's nothing he can really do for Eira other than being there. He doesn't understand and just wants to help his friend.

i think I'll try and make one with Dan, but maybe after artfight ends :]
