             eyes  widened,   his  beautiful  baby  girl  held  in  the  arms  of  the  man  he  deemed  as  nothing  but  pure  EVIL  --  he  wasn't  even  supposed  to  know  about  her,   rick  was  supposed  to  keep  her  SAFE,   even  if  none  of  them  could  guarantee their  own  safety.   head  shook,   stepping  closer  towards  the  place  he  now  called  home,   the  place  where  NEGAN   now  sat  upon  the  porch,   judith  held  in  his  arms.   his  stomach  dropped,  especially  since  she  wasn't  fussing,   she  wasn't  even  crying  ;  if  anything,   he  could  hear  her  quiet  coo's  --  oh  if  only  she  knew  what  a  MONSTER  he  was,   if  only  her  innocent  mind  understand  how  horrific  this  man  truly  was,   the  one  who  spoke  to  her  as  if  he  were  pure sunshine,   as  if  he  hadn't  done  a  damn  thing  wrong  ;   rick  now unable  to  shift  the  obvious  nausea  from  the  pit  of  his  stomach. 

              ❝  you  leave  her  alone,  y-you  --   ❞          FEAR  ;  it  etched  into  his  veins  like  cement,  permanently  evident  whenever  negan was  around,   and  now  more  so  that  judith  was  involved  --  how  was  this  remotely  close  to  keeping  her  safe  ?          ❝  ...   don't  --  d-don't  hurt  her,  she's  just  --  she's  just  a  baby  ...   ❞

           when  it  came  to  negan,   rick  knew  by  now  that  he  wasn't  exactly  one  to  be  messed  around  with,   he  wasn't  someone  to  call  out  on  a  bluff  and  he  most  certainly  wasn't  one to  try  and  go  toe  to  toe  with  unless  you  knew  you  were  the  one  getting  out  alive.   yet,   for  the  first  time  in  a  while,   rick  had  had  enough  of  merely  laying  down  and  showing  his  belly,   he was  tired  of  willingly  doing  whatever  the  hell  negan  wanted  from  him  and  thus,   he  had  stood  his  ground  in  the  heat  of  the  moment  and  essentially  told  the  opposing  male  that  if  he  wanted  him  to  do  something  ?  he'd  have  to  physically  MAKE  him  do  it.   despite  his  exterior  of  standing  up  for  himself  and  becoming  defensive,   rick  couldn't  deny  that  his  heart  was  pounding  within  confines  of  his  chest,   nerves  were  surging  throughout  his  veins  like  wildfire  and  shivers  tingled  down  his  spine,   especially  as  the  gap  between  the  two  was  now  entirely  bridged.    but  he  still  refused  to  back  down,   lump  in  his  throat  swallowed  as  he  took  a  short  breath,   blue  orbs  glaring  back  towards  negan.       

             ❝  ----------  you  want  me  to  do  your  dirty  work,   then  MAKE  ME.  ❞

How TEMPTING it is to simply open his mouth and sink his teeth into the meaty flesh of Negan’s DAMN finger. THAT would stop him (maybe)  Huffing out a breath, Simon opted for reaching out, wrapping his fingers around Negan’s  wrist looking over at him.

Oh fuck.

There was a  REASON  to why Ky’lar disliked groups of people; at least before the world turned to this  SHIT-STAIN  things were decent, but now? If you didn’t have  FAVOR  of one GROUP’S leader or another, things turned  BAD  quickly. 

Therefore, Ky’lar didn’t feel like having to  DEAL  with getting on ANYONE’S bad side ---- even if it meant he had to  TONE  down his usual attitude. If it wasn’t  ONE  group it was another and he wasn’t about to deal with the possibility of death ( at least not yet ), but as per-usual, his ATTEMPTS at being decent failed horribly.
