Calum was nervous to see Hayley after all this time, but he thought that maybe they were doing a pretty good job at getting along after his whole ghosting thing he’d done. She seemed happy enough with her boyfriend or whatever and he’d been honest with her about his things going on with Luke so he thought she’d be a good person to spend some time with. He’d told her to meet him to get some of the Dolce Whip everyone was talking about. The line was long, so he was planning to just buy hers when he caught sight of her.

“Hayley!” He shouted, waving in her direction. “I got us a spot in line so at least we aren’t in the back of this miserable line.” He teased, giving her a one armed hug when she approached. “How have you been? What have you been up to?”

She surprised me, she’s in town for work and squeezed in a quick visit. I mean… Yeah. It is what it is. My heart hurts, I thought I was over it but seeing him in real life again, talking even, is just.. it’s… yeah.
