Rose: It was quite the shitstorm when we arrived, it was unfortunate we didn’t get to stay longer but the faster we removed DC from their care and put him into ours the better...

You hear a startled yell and glass breaking in the background, followed by the raucous laughter of HEE HEE HAA HAA HOO HOO. It seems as though today DC is doing the haunted doll routine, you wonder where he will pop up next.

King let Selina beat her in a sword fight and Gail let a completely untrained man one hit KO her, Talia is amazing undoubtedly but I won’t give DC any credit for it.

DC also let Catwoman KO the freaking Cheetah, who can fight hand to hand against Wonder Woman, at one point.

So, I guess the lesson we take from this is that DC really likes Catwoman.

But seriously, Tom King and Gail Simone both know nothing at all about Talia.  Gail has said that she doesn’t see Talia as an excellent fighter and that she would pair her up with Bane (who... abused and sexually assaulted her...).  Tom King... well.  Rules of Engagement speaks for itself in that regard.

I followed you for Batman then into Danny Phantom, Full Metal Alchemist, My Hero Academia, and now we’re back at Batman except I joined three new fandoms so I guess I’ll never leave this train :)

That is so incredible because this blog hasn’t settled on a consistent fandom is years and that is some dedication and I am so impressed. Thank you for letting me fill your screen with an endless stream of consciousness. Those are all great and wonderful fandoms, I love them all dearly and, clearly, I never forget them and just end up circling back lol.

I've been out of Homestuck for a few years because all of the pauses and whatnot. I've forgotten a great deal but want to finish it so is it worth rereading and finishing?

@hd-scissors in reference to the question here  (I....didn’t want to reblog that whole snippet, haha... I should’ve probably put a readmore there when posting it, huh) , the scene with Dick at the start of ch 4 is set a week or more after that snippet’s timeframe. I’m still planning to try and find a way to place in the (edited, somewhat rewritten but spiritually similar) version of that snippet into the story, but the rough timeline is the same, it’s just that Jason’s had enough time to recover by the time the ambush occurs.
