We are excited to host two paintings "Clutch" and "Parasol" by Pamela Lofgren-Wilde. Stop by to see them and meet our employees that sat for the paintings, Brenna in Clutch and Dani in Parasol. Pamela Lofgren-Wilde is a native of Chicago but has resided in Maryland for over twenty years. Pamela received her formal training at the Chicago-based American Academy of Art and graduated with a degree in Advertising Design and Illustration. Her early career was spent in Tacoma, Washington where she worked for the Tacoma News Tribune from 1984 to 1989. While employed with the Tacoma News Tribune she worked extensively in advertising design and editorial illustration creating original art for weekly publication. In the early 1990’s Pamela took a break from her professional aspirations to raise her family, but continued to extensively grow and further expand her artistic horizons. Evolving as a portrait artist she studied intensively through adult continued education, mentorship and independent study. When not out doors plein-air painting, Pamela works from her home studio and is currently represented by Artists Emporium Gallery in Havre de Grace Maryland where she also keeps studio space. Working in oils and from direct observation her subject matter is varied. Pamela’s true passion lies in the many and varied challenges presented by the portrait, figure and plein-air landscape #joretro #havredegracemd #havredegrace #shophdg #hdgproud #visithdg #explorehavredegrace #visitharford #marylandartist (at Joretro) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUcchMxAAd2/?utm_medium=tumblr
