pentagon are actually allowed to be as sappy, nostalgic and emotional as they want in their songs. they have written many songs full of words describing their love for each other and putting magic into past moments and how happy they were and staying together forever but for me it’s never really been overmuch at any point… yes, the songs feel sappy, grand and full of love and mushy and warm but they’re always… bearable? it doesn’t feel ostentatious and it doesn’t feel fake or forced, it feels like this is the way they want to tell their stories and it’s the logical way for them
