What about a BNHA/Dispatch AU? Former Vigilante turned Dispatcher Izuku Midoriya has been called to lead the Z Team of former Villains.
Series: BNHA x Dispatch AU Criteria: Izuku Midoriya is given a once in a lifetime opportunity, to stay out of jail. AU title (optional): HDN
Izuku Midoriya, disillusioned with heroes, decides to become a Vigilante (Jade Rabbit). Being quirkless he focuses in on support tech to compensate for his lack of a quirk, which in turn makes him one of the hardest opponent to pin down.
Eventually Nezu guides Creati to locate Izuku Midoriya, and make him an offer. Quit your criminal enterprise, and help heroes be better. Alternatively, go to jail.
During the test, his abilities to analyze and utilize seemingly disparate quirks gives him high marks, and he joins the Hero Dispatch Network, subsidiary of HPSC. No one likes the the Commission, and everyone shows it. The fact that the individual offices are run by local heroes with ties to the local schools is purely coincidentally.
Time to MEET THE TEAM! We have the V-Team, villains, vigilantes, and victimes of society OH MY! First up, we meet Fumikage Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, solid stats, but a bit unpredictable in certain situations. Then there's Shoto, the ice prince of the team, but with a fiery passion underneath. Listen, no one ever saw Tooru Hagakure steal anything, but the judge had it out for her from the start. Mezo Shoji was blamed for a lot of things that were done, and then not given a chance to defend himself. Kyoka Jiro is a sharp tongued rocker that had several strings of bad luck lead to her being on the chopping block. Himiko Toga is a sweetheart with a body count to rival several slasher movie franchises combined. Pony Tsunitori really doesn't want to talk about why she had to leave America. Mina Ashido doesn't think that she should really be blamed for what happened and it's not important, so don't ask. Okay? Cool. Anyways, this is the starting group, who get along about as well as to be expected. He has to somehow get them in shape.
Later on, All Might who has been regretting creating the vigilante menace known as Jade Rabbit, who curiously had run ins with a few members of the team, and Eijiro Kirishima, who has been down on his luck since his childhood friend got dumped into V-Team, join in for some missions, and Kirishima is added permanently. All Might floats to other teams as needed.
They begin to fight against All-For-One and his League of Villains, in truly the only way these types of rivalrys can go… with a lot of swearing, broken bones, and propety damage. Truly, the finest the Hero Dispatch Network has to offer.
Someone said a bit ago that Hidan is the totallyyyyy the lamb, the weapon, and the sacrificer/priest. Which is like. SO PERFECT. but it REALLY got me thinking abt hidans role in jashinism and what that actually means. Yes, he is the weapon which brings justice, yes he is the prayer that does what needs to be done to spare his victims from the fear of death (in his way of thinking ig..) and he is the active lamb on the line and given up. His rituals are extremely brutalistic against the self as well as the cursed, but given hidans SHARED state of his victim, he too is sacrificed and brutalized and even cursed. Got me thinking there are a lot of threes around hidan, like his scythe, but also in the points of the jashin symbol. There are three main points (the corners of the triangle) surrounded and kept together visually by a circle. I feel like there could actually be a meaning to the 3 points and how they affect the ritual? And how they connect hidan to his victim. Bc its a connected bond, and its THAT symbol, it can't be any symbol so im thinking there has to be a reason. It would make sense if the points represent the roles of the jashinist idddkkk or steps in the ritual, and what they mean. My current thoughts, enjoy them. Also been thinking hidan fr is cursed. To immortality. His skeleton form symbolizes that a lot for me.
