#tbt I was 12 and my dad was more into them than I was. I remember the day going to the breeders house and he had like 12 of them outside on chains and his kennel/yard setup was amazing. I took his kennel/yard setup too. While him and my dad talked I walked his entire kennel touched every dog even the mean ones and I remember how in awe I was and him the breeder (Mr. Warren Shaw of Shaw’s Kennels) this what imma do when get older and he told me “son....what your father has planned you will carry out and see it through just make sure you love the dogs first and always and everything else will come to you young dogman”, then I asked him what’s a dogman? Then he gave me the pup in this pic (my first male dog Storm) and gave me the game and a couple books and I been hooked since.
