A flash, certain death. Bodhi knew it was the end before he felt the heat of the explosion. It was certainly over before he knew it. Of course it would be, he was in direct contact with the grenade. But the breeze against his cheek, the lack of salt water in the air, the lack of gritty sand against his skin, and the quiet told him all that was gone. Was this it? The afterlife? The Force? He opened his eyes and there was nothing to confirm what he thought. He was dead, that had to be sure. This was where you went? The place was curious, unlike anything he’d ever seen before. With shaking hands, he approached someone rather abruptly. It was obvious he was rather distressed. “Are you dead too?”
