The bedroom scene changed everything.
Gene admitted to like Nubsib and Nubsib was real with him. There was honesty and no filter.
They just talked about their feelings and thoughts and I like this show because many scenes start as cliché as possible but turn around and have a better outcome than they would have if it would be a typical BL. The bedroom scene would've ended in a kiss or even more but Nubsib didn't want to take adventage of Gene. Of course, he asked some questions knowing Gene would answer honestly because he's drunk but he didn't do anything else. It's a pluspoint for me. They don't go through with problematic scenes which is just great and shows us Nubsib cares. Like the scene last week on the couch when Gene got uncomfortable and told him. The scene just ended like it would in normal life.
Such scenes say much more about the characters than them just kissing a lot. They are no flat characters and there's not only physical attraction.
But also, the product placements crack me up 😂 The toothbrush was gold and the spray... what was that scene even about? Lmao
