Normally, I don't really get engaged by characters I don't know. But TWICE now, you have mentioned a boy so fascinating that I felt compelled to dive into his story. Read wherever it is he came from.
The boys in question were named "Rashid" and "Simonetto Crane." ☺️🔫
Rashid! I haven't mentioned him in a long while, but he is still one of my favorite OCs. Little Priest Rashid, who made his parents so proud when he was picked! (Most priests in his culture are women or born from priest parents, so Rashid, the son of a weaver, being picked up was a big deal.) With his sweet voice and personality, a lamb! A little lamb with no malice on him!!
His people are nomads; they raise goats. They are pacifists. It is seen as a terrible thing to attack them, you know? Other nomads and other people do not attack them; they let them pass.
It was… Bad luck that they were camped by an oasis. It was bad luck that Eskander's men had not seen action in weeks and were hunting for some prey.
And they are easy, and they are fun.
And Eskander, who thinks himself magnanimous and good, lets them because he is a wolf still; he is a terrible man commanding even more terrible men, and he lets them!!
And if you asked him, he would say that he freed Rashid from his rapists because he was just a boy, because it was wrong. And that would be a LiE.
Eskander rarely lies, except when it comes to his boys. That he loves them, that they love him. That he cares about them. Because if he did care about them, he would set them free (HAH NEVER WILL HAPPEN) or he would never touch Rashid again because he knows the boy is terrified of him. (He still fucks him even when Rashid can't even pretend he likes it because it gets him so hard knowing he is fucking something—not someone but something—who is terrified of him)
