I gotta ask - what portion of Sentinel’s desire to befriend/woo Shockwave was because Shockwave is also a pretty and affluent flyer, and what portion of it was because Shockwave bears such an uncanny resemblance to Sentinel that you had to make a guide on telling them apart? I am crying at the thought of Sentinel meeting his mini-me and going “yeah I’d tap that”, and then getting shut down so hard (in front of the ENTIRE SENATE NO LESS) that he had to bury Shockwave the evidence by faking an act of God. Great work, buddy, no one has ever been a bigger sore loser.

(As an aside, I love mystic tales Sentinel. I get real excited whenever he shows up because I just KNOW something awesome and terrible is about to happen. I love to see him win. I love to see him lose. I hope The Unnamed Bird gets to peck his eyes out someday. Your methodology of “letting villains be villainous” has worked wonders with this rat bastard.)

Oh yeah that was a part of it haha yes. Shockwave is everything Sentinel is. Just a bit different here and there. Smaller, kinder, softer. He pretty much perfectly fits into the abstract picture of a perfect "partner in crime" Sentinel has in his head. Youknow. It's sorta like dreaming about having a clone of yourself so you can have a friend who understands you perfectly and shares all your hobbies. Or a lover. Sentinel would absolutely fuck with his clone if he had one.

Anyway. I can't and won't say more about that rn because you'll see it in the comic later. But I can say that despite being an absolute asshole who prayed on Shockwave's downfall Sentinel also kinda misses him. In a very weird "lovehate" sorta way. Sentinel loves to talk and mock and make uncomfortable comments and Shockwave was the kind of rival who gave that whole energy back by being all snarky in return. If you go back in Spellbound you can see that haha. But in Mimics too. Sentinel is like "What? No banter? No banter🥀"

(Also I'm glad you appreciate his evilness haha. I love villains who are unapologetically evil. The ones who are so okay with being bad people that they create their own style about it. Fun stuff hahrjfyiyj)

Without a doubt Kitsune!suguru! heee isssssss a breeeeedd of his own..... terrifyingly powerful,,, his lore is derived from a jjk oc ive had for a long time now, but he is very very veryyy scary. Siren reader does realize this which is why they're very cautious but...........i mean hes really sexy....hes so sexy..........., i mean he's an absolute titan shrouded in terror and mystery. That's siren reader's crack, whether or not they're up to conquer him iiissss................. up for debate lolz, they're not lacking, he's just so SO SO much.

Kitsune sugu isss very capable of winning this game with a snap of his fingers, i mean he can just alter and manipulate your reality (which is just classic kitsune lore) but he much prefers an even and fair playing field, bcuz he likes you a lot lol.. (does pull a few tricks now and then just to play with you but they're never on your expense, hes just silly and cute lmao)

Dont get me wrong tho he doenst get off at knowing he's got the upper hand, (you play it safe anyway, siren reader is very experienced and clever) he doenst want to trap you either, it defeats the purpose entirely in that case, he'll wait for you and continue dangling himself over the top of your nose to being you closer in the meantime...maybe youll even sleep with him who knows... BUT until then, he'll just have to make do with the tiniest glimpses of you, the intense observing from the nearest body of water where you peek at him, the haunting singing late at night, the gift exchanges you two participate in (he gifts you handmade hair pins and elegance accessories blessed with protection incantations....markiiinggg anyone....?, you bring back dead venomous sea dwellers to intimidate him which he finds cute lol) HE LIKES WHAT YOU TWO HAVE...does enjoy this game of "courting you" (does he know...) but ultimately he's still greedyyyyyy... wouldn't want you having any other "victims" TvT
