"You're always cold, so I got you a scarf."
It's true that, as a white dragonborn, Caedes ran naturally cold. Whilst they rarely really noticed it, things had been... well. The lack of rest and food was having knock on effects on their body, and Caedes was definitely spending more time shivering or seeking out warm spaces. Running the soft fabric through their claws, ever so careful not to catch or pull any threads, for a moment, there's a sparkle of tears in their eyes. A sharp sniff. It's - a really, truly touching gesture to him. Maybe he'd loved them in the life that they'd forgotten, but Caedes had found soft fabrics immensely appealing. "Thank you." they murmured, trying hard not to let the stiff, dangerous persona lessen, giving it away with a wagging tail. "I - really appreciate it."
