Hvitserk flickers his eyes back over to Mads, pleading him for time. The fact that he barely got you into some strange, limbo relationship where things were not so hard was a miracle. His stomach suddenly feels wound up and its not with the sugar in his belly.

“Yeah,” Mads answers. “Football team.” 

There was that, Hvitserk relaxes. A moment to take a breath. He runs his hand through his hair and caresses your arm. 

“Where’s that?” Magnus says. “Is it far?” 

Mads looks down to his cake, bobbing his head in a small smile that pulls at his lips. “Not too far.”

Dion is exhausted, and with this exhaustion, he finds it increasingly difficult to keep up his poised and calm demeanor he's known for. Tired eyes slowly drag over towards Joshua, making immediate eye contact.

Sometimes he forgets - despite the fact that he can clearly hear Joshua's heart beating steadily right now - that his own heartbeat is audible to other dominants as well. Such an invasion of privacy, he thinks, even though he knows not a single one of them can control it. Not even he has found a way to tune out the sound of their beating hearts when they're within his vicinity.

And, though it would take much to admit to this, Dion finds a comfort and peace in the gentle thumping of Joshua's heartbeat.

He sighs, offering a nod in response to the question - and not the most convincing one at that.

"Yes, of course." He says softly, putting as much effort as he can into making it sound believable. "I am merely tired. I fear the events of the day have caught up to me."
