Lo'ak and Tsireya are walking along the beach when they stumble upon Ao'nung and Neteyam

Neteyam shakes his head, but not in the disappointed brother way, in a way that almost seems flirty. Lo’ak rubs his eyes making sure he isn’t hallucinating. When he looks back, he sees Neteyam giggling. Giggling. Neteyam does not fucking giggle.

“Is my brother flirting with your brother?” Lo’ak asks Tsireya as they stand there in shock together. Ao’nung places a hand on the tree Neteyam’s leaning, effectively cornering him. If Lo’ak could see Ao’nung’s face, he’s sure he would be smirking.

Tsireya stares at the two of them as well. “It seems so,” she says. Neteyam leans towards Ao’nung, so close Lo’ak almost wants to gag from the sight. Ao’nung says something and Neteyam laughs again, smiling up at the other man.

Neteyam then shakes his head before leaning back against the tree once more. Lo’ak watches as his brother slides away Ao’nung but not before playfully hitting Ao’nung with his tail. His tail, one of the most intimate places for an Omatikaya. 

After what looks to be a goodbye, Neteyam saunters away. Saunters! Lo’ak has never seen his brother saunter. “No fucking way,” Lo’ak says speechless.
