if you were to see jace’s childhood room it would be obvious that he was avid on collecting magazines & posters. his wall was covered in them, big and small, some of his favorite artists others of his celebrity crushes --- this is the cringiest headcanon edit i’ve ever made in my entire life but it was well worth it.

> shinee debuted when he was about nine years old & they’re probably the first group that made him think to himself that he wanted to be an idol back then. for that reason, jace still has this poster to this day. its just torn. 

> the beyonce poster is a bit beyond his time but since he was in fact a collector he worked hard on chores for like 2 weeks in order to buy this off ebay when he was 13. dangerously in love (2003) is his favorite beyonce and was up until the homecoming compilation. 

> he discovered britney spears’ discography after hearing criminal (2011). he back tracked through all her work had became obsessed to the point of wanting this damn magazine which is considered an iconic rolling stones cover from 1999. he couldn’t scrape together the money for this one, his dad bought it for christmas.

> this is beyonce for blender magazine in 2003. jace came across this copy in the archives of the library when he was 12. probably the scariest thing he’s ever done is shove that thing in his bookbag and make a run for it while pretending he hadn’t done anything. 

> zac was his childhood crush. i mean they’re both libras for crying out loud and 7 year old jace had no clue that it wasn’t zac singing we’re breaking free in high school musical (2006). he was just hot. this isn’t the only thing he had of him in his room but he ripped the cover off this one to put it up.

> this one of a kind ariana pic shares the same story as the first in this row, except he had no need for the rest of the magazine. he just ripped out the picture and slid it into his homework folder before doing the dash. she’s his favorite artist of all time.
