he had a little bit of help from the Boss for this one, he must admit— but Christmas is Christmas, and a present is a present ; fitting for the kind of job they find themselves doing. the case he leads Dazai to ( more specifically, the contents it guards ) should come in handy for the next several missions : a black gun. ❝ merry Christmas, ❞ he says. ❝ don’t you dare use it to blow up your brains ! ❞

Oh... that looked interesting. Mori often refused to let him walk around with a gun, he would only hand it to him if he had an actual job to do. Otherwise, he had to stay clear of them (Dazai still managed to steal one however). Receiving one as a gift.. it was curious. He never expected anyone to give him gifts. He never understood why anyone would think of him. He used to be terrified to ask for things he actually wanted, despite the tantrums he often threw around his mentor. 

    “Merry Christmas,” he mumbled in thought, running a finger over the smoothness of the gun. “Chuuya can be considerate sometimes, huh? Thank you. Your gift awaits you at your apartment.”
