Thus Danzo suspects that the ninja boy's been tidying up. But when he glances inside, all is tidy. Worse, the boy isn't even out of breath.
"Residence inspection." Danzo pushes his way indoors, past Shin's arm. "To see if you brought home any sentimenal junk. Or if you're good." He enters the hallway, and today his back forbids him to take off his shoes, so he invades the living room-kitchen. His sandal hooks behind something, a nuisance under the tatami mat, and he trips.
