A silly story I occassionally write parts of is a totally unmarketable concept where a young woman who was raised by the church in a fantasy world agrees to marry a stranger who turns out to be one of many Santas from the North Pole, but it turns out he only agreed to marry her on accident and their relationship is super awkward, so she starts working as his assistant more than his wife, but it's also basically the Christmas Carol near the end because the spirits are visiting him to avert his terrible fate, but he's so closed off from the spiritual world that he can't even see them, so instead they visit her and give her all the visions and she has to communicate them back to him while figuring out what the tragedy is that she's trying to prevent and during the entire time she's considering running away, which would be very scandalous for both of them and betray her idea of herself as a selfless and holy woman, but she considers it because he is incredibly cold and thoughtless toward her, HOWEVER, the visions she sees reveal that she shares a very similar backstory to her new husband and they may have been put together intentionally because it seems only she understands the things he's dealing with and it's basically a romance where the romantic leads don't even hold hands for most of it, it's fantasy with a very slice-of-life plot and it's all Christmas and Santa themed, but won't appeal to kids.
That's my unmarketable book I've been occassionally writing chapters for when I get bored.
