She scoffs but still takes his hand and lets him pull her the rest of the way up the cliff. The cheeky half smile makes her want to trip him as they navigate the steep ledges but then she'd lose the backpack he's carrying.

"Are you the strong silent type then?" He pokes and she refuses to rise to the bait even as the memory of her strong silent partner flashes in her mind.

"No, but I tend to keep my commentary more informative."

Roland tilts his head and strikes an over-dramatic thinking pose."You don't like my chatter? Many people find it endearing."

"There's a scorpion behind you."

She laughs as he yelps and runs into a patch of dynamite.
