Spoon, I've always wondered about this! I know your interpretation changes depending on the fic, but in your works that use the 'all media type' tag, do you generally see Skyfire and Starscream as exes/former lovers, or just very close friends who are often mistaken for a couple?
If it's the former, I'd absolutely love to see a truly Skyfire-jealous Megatron one day. 😂 I know you've written something similar before, but unless I'm misremembering, Skyfire and Starscream didn't actually have any romantic history in that one, lol.
I've not written something like that yet but I got a few ideas;
Mostly for the comedic value of Megatron going absolutely insane thinking about Skyfire having once fragged Starscream. For lots of different reasons. Mostly Skyfire is so different to him. And is a much better person than he is. And was probably a much better boyfriend than he could ever be. And Megatron can't even reassure himself with the idea that he might be better in bed, at least, because Skyfire is HUGE and must be in proportion, so Starscream is probably just one flirtation away from dumping his aft and going back to his perfect, handsome, educated Autobot ex-boyfriend !!
