On of my major gripes with the story is that it still doesn't make sense to me. If Bloodedge had the scythe 1st, then Ragna inherited it from Jubei. Then Ragna gets sent back in time to continue the process. My only problem is where does this cycle begin? (Note, im not that anon, the last ask gave me the impulse to ask this?)
The story doesn’t even make sense to me at times. Mori really needs to get his shit together.Well technically, Ragna had the scythe first at some point in his life. In one of the earliest timelines, he would’ve had to go back in time to become Bloodedge while carrying the Blood-Scythe. Another Ragna became the Black Beast with Nu.The Time for Decision (look it up) solidified the time between 2100 -2200 so that time couldn’t be interfered with ever again. The Ragna here (the one who we’ve been following) replaced the Bloodedge that had an uncertain existence, effectively becoming the new Bloodedge.At least, that’s what I understand of it and what I’ve been told by translators. Trust me, I still haven’t got my head round it but I’m 99% Mori was high when he wrote this part.
