I have a cured base for my marshmallow-cat headpet.  It is bigger than anticipated, so it will be a better fit for 70cm and 60cm dolls.  Not a bad thing, since all other head pets I’ve seen are sized for 1/6 and 1/4 dolls.  I may make a smaller one later, but for now I will forge ahead.  Now that I have a solid base, I can start on detail.

After all, 70cm dolls want cats on their heads, too!  I am doing a public service.

I have been looking at head-pets lately.  You know, the little bunnies and cats that magnet to a dolls head like a droopy hat?  I really like them, but there is something missing. 

There are no hedgehogs.  There should be hedgehogs.  They would be called “headhogs.”  There should also be armadillos (my partner supplied “armhatdillo” for that one).

I am going to try and sculpt both.  Wish me luck.
