Digimon Adventure 02 Appreciation Challenge
An 02 musical piece that makes you feel every time it's played?
So here's the deal: I grew up with, and have only ever seen Adventure and 02 in the English dub versions. (Though I have seen all the movies and Tri with English subtitles.) While recently, I've been listening to and enjoying the Japanese soundtracks, they don't bring me back to that state of being a little girl, glued to the television screen on Saturday mornings. That little girl hummed "Digimon, Digital Monsters, Digimon are the CHAMPIONS" on the school bus, and she was obsessed with the song "Run Around," which played in the first 02 episode, when V-mon armor digivolves into Flamedramon. It's fast paced, catchy, and whenever I hear it, I instantly remember 02, and Daisuke (Davis) in particular.
Oh, and it's part of The Digimon Movie soundtrack, which slaps so hard. I mean, it had it's fair share A LOT of problems, but music was not one of them.**
**The Digirap (which I simultaneously cherish and loathe, depending on the day) is up in the air here.
