into the fire || Triwizard Tournament AU
The announcement that a tournament would be occurring this year had various effects on Lily. She had simultaneously been shocked, excited, intrigued and apprehensive which is quite a lot to be feeling at once. The Triwizard Tournament was infamous, for being horribly dangerous, for it's terrifying tasks and the lavish ball that occurred at Christmas. Part of her was overjoyed at the opportunity to witness something like this, but at the same time, it couldn't be happening at a worse time, they did have NEWTs at the end of the year after all.
Despite being of age for it, she already knew she wasn't going to enter. It wasn't her thing, she wasn't the type to want to show her apparent 'daring and valour' to the school and visiting delegates. No, she was content remaining on the sidelines and being amused by the goings on of whoever was chosen. Which was exactly why she was sitting in the entrance hall, surrounded by yelling and laughing students, watching people walk forward to submit their name into the famed Goblet of Fire. Several people had submitted their names so far, mostly from the other two schools. Which made sense really, all of them had come this far, to not put their names in at this point would be rather stupid. She was rather fascinated by these international students. It might have been naive of her, but she'd truly never considered the possibility of other magic schools. It seemed rather ridiculous in hindsight, of course other countries had schools of their own. And so she sat, and watched the Durmstrang students in their red cloaks, and the delegates Beauxbatons in their silks, interspersed with a smattering of Hogwarts students as they stepped forward to enter the infamous contest.
For a moment, she began to wonder why she hadn't yet seen a certain group of Gryffindor boys enter their names, well, really, it was exactly their sort of thing. Fanfare, eternal glory, showing off. It was practically a Marauder's dream. She wasn't left with much time to wonder though, almost as soon as the thought had popped into her head, there was a ridiculously loud noise emitting from just beyond the doors, and the group of boys clad in gold and scarlet burst in.
"Well, speak of the devil I suppose..." she mused, deliberately facing herself away from them, as though by doing this she was denying them the audience they so craved.
"I've never seen such gorgeous eyes before."
Well, that was very different from a yelled go out with me. And yes, it had been more than a year since then, but it still was not something Lily had expected to ever hear from Potter and she nearly dropped everything on the floor, eyes widening, "What? Pot… Is this a way to say you can’t come patrolling tonight?” she asked, her tone a little deadpan instead of wary; they had started getting a little more along since the beginning of the seventh year and she could actually show a little amusement to his weird humor without him being a moron about it. At least until now.

Mary appreciated James seeing her off for the train for her final year. Though, she didn't like the idea of knowing this was possibly the last time she'd see him. Mary tried not to think about how dangerous it was, him going off and joining the Order and fighting Lord Voldemort or the fact that she felt so useless, being stuck at school for another year. "It's only 10 months," Mary said aloud, more to herself than to James. It was 10:57. Three minutes left. "Don't do anything stupid, Potter." She wished she would see him over the holidays, but it was decided that it was safer for her to stay at school all year round (It wasn't decided by her, of course. Though, she did have to agree). "I'll miss you." Two minutes left. Mary used those two minutes well, pushing her lips onto his, her arms tight around his neck to hold him close her. Her eyes shut tightly. The train whistled and Mary let go.She didn't say anything else, jumping onto the train and watched as the door shut behind her and the train began tohead off. She closed her eyes once more, not wanting to watch James get smaller and smaller as she left---- without him.
Werewolf:If you had to spend your life with just one person, who would it be?

As depressing as this sounds, I honestly wouldn't pick someone, unless I completely had too. I can't stand being around the same person for too long and it's a nasty, nasty feeling to be alone but I like it better than being annoyed.

"Just one? Oh hell -- I'd probably go with Remus, mate. I mean, you'll marry off eventually and Peter should find a girl. Leaves Remus and I to be all alone together."

"Hello there. I promise I haven't been stalking you, but is everyone gone?"
