HEADCANON
Peter STRUGGLES with learning languages. Severely struggles. Vocabulary is decent, but different grammar rules? Unbelievably hard to grasp for him. Despite living with Berwald for 15 years, his Swedish is still barely considered beginner level... But he is great at accents and impressions. He can get the tonalities and placements of a language or regional variant down after mere minutes of hearing it and a few attempts to feel it out. His natural accent isn't even the prim-n-proper sound he puts on. It's an old East Anglia dialect, but he was trained out of it [link to example]. He will absolutely play into his natural accent, a stereotypically posh one, an Essex or a Cockney dialect, if it adds to a joke or story he's telling.
