My interpretation of Loona has her learning to cope with her undiagnosed bipolar disorder. this is a central part of her character, or at least my version of hers. she will have MASSIVE highs, where it seems like she’s genuinely happy (and for a moment or two she is. ) but then she will have massive LOWS, where she’s irritable to the point of becoming physically violent or not wanting to leave her room for days at a time.
my Loona doesn’t know she has bipolar disorder. she DOES know that there’s something... off, or different about herself. she knows that she’s more volatile & explosive than a lot of the other demons she’s met , and she has no control over her emotions. she is NOT willing to talk about these revelations with just ANYONE. it’s a struggle to even get to admit she’s feeling funky to her dad, and he is by far the CLOSEST person to her.
loona & moxxie’s relationship is basically that of an older sister who bullies the living shit out of her brother but if anyone else does that shit she’ll blow a gasket
Loona has pack mentality, but it’s very selective pack mentality. obviously the people she’s going to be immediately close to are those in I.M.P. Blitz, Millie & Mox are the three most important individuals in her life, whether she cares to admit or not ( spoiler alert: she won’t. )
the point being, is that unless you’ve proven to loona that you’re willing to stick around - you’re not going anywhere, she’s not willing to waste more than a one night stand on you.
I’m going to say this now, Loona doesn’t hate physical affection. we’ve seen it a couple of times in the pilot, she genuinely smiles when blitzo hugs them all with his tail. and , when he does hug her and bury his face into her fur, she growls, yes, as a warning, but does she do anything else?? nope.
but also ! loona can be incredibly sensitive at times, so just...her resting her head in your muse’s lap...tail wagging a million miles per hour. soft.
like I’ve stated in loona’s bio, I don’t think hellhounds are on the same level as demons, i think they’re lower on the status pole , just from what little things I’ve seen in cameos during the pilot ( like the advertisement for them ), it’s very like...they’re pets really. which makes blitz & loona’s relationship pretty special cause he pretty much just...adopted her and brought her up like an actual demon, not a lower class citizen.
so even though he annoys the living shit out of her, she would come to his aid without question ( an example being in her drinking the liquified phone that he blended up.). she’d probably complain about it the entire time, but she’d do it.
ϡ for a MENTAL STATE headcanon.

oh, that’s a rough one.
canonically, loona’s been SHOWN to have not the best attitude - of course, that’s to be expected, she’s in hell of course, but it’s very little things that set her off, and she has periods of wild highs ( usually induced by drug or alcohol usage ) that are typically followed by feral lows ( which usually end up in her physically taking her feelings out on something / someone. ) she’s never had someone to actually talk out her emotions with. blitzo isn’t particularly the kind to really... how you feeling, empathetic kind of person. that’s not in his job description.
a personal headcanon of mine for loona is that she has undiagnosed bipolar disorder - her wild mood swings are typical for a lot of hell citizens, but hers are PARTICULARLY severe. she has periods of time when she cannot get out of bed. for DAYS. blitzo usually leaves her alone because ... he can’t do anything else for her. she won’t respond to anything. then after a week she’ll have one to two days where she’s actually up and at it, engaging with the other members of I.M.P ( sometimes not in the healthiest of manners. ) she does stupid shit during these periods of intense mania, because she’s not thinking.
