Him sitting uncomfortably on her couch, being stared down by a little girl.

Him not knowing how to get her to stop crying. Him crying because he can't fix the sad. 

Ryan freaking the fuck out when the spawn of Cordelia rubs tears away from his eyes and gives him a hug. Ryan being really confused by said hug. Both of them falling asleep on the couch watching ET. 

Cordelia walking in to see this. Cordelia draws a dick on Ryan's forehead, before taking her mini to bed and putting a blanket on Ryan.

   The gang from P1, plus Nina, and judal and envy but only when they’re not being Jerks, are the only ones Sen’s actually grown somewhat close to. If the time ever arose where he did have to leave, though, he’d be very torn between his options. However, his sense of duty is important to him, so he’d cast aside his own desires and return to his organization if given the chance. He probably wouldn’t want to; he’s that loyal to his leader.

fun fact.

   Although his line, “I'm not into S&M, yeah!," was meant as comic relief, there's some truth behind it -- whether sexually or literally speaking, he does not enjoy being bound in the slightest. In life, and maybe even in death, freedom was what he'd chased for; freedom from Iwa, from the Akatsuki, from those judgement stares. To him, it was like being a bird and having his wings cut, yet, in some aspects, that was exactly how it was.

   The first time he'd lost his arm, thanks to that fake uchiha, he'd been scolded so relentlessly by Kakuzu that he much would've rather to tear his other arm off than have to listen to the medic yell at him. Unfortunately, he can't complain about Kakuzu doing a shitty job, considering that no one has been able to successfully pull them right off.  Occasionally, though, when the weather dramatically changes, the area around the stitchings will ache terribly, and that's when he'll complain -- “Ne, ne, Kakuzu, my arms should feel like arms and not stumps, hmm!"

   Don't let his cocky attitude fool you -- although his hands are probably the most important thing to him, he's actually very insecure about them. When he'd first gotten them, people had viewed him as a monster. To this day, the rejecting, disgusted looks he's given sting as badly as they did the first time. Although its very easy for him to laugh it off, pretend it didn't bother him, and throw a worse insult their way, he takes it personally, which is why he rarely opens those mouths outside of creating art. 

   Deidara wasn't very fond of the Akatsuki hats he had been forced to wear during his missions; unlike the rest of the organization, he wanted to be known for his villainous deeds, to be feared, and even respected by fellow artists throughout the world. Hiding behind a silly veil was a nuisance on its own level -- what use was hiding their faces if their cloaks were a dead give away of their affiliation? -- but he couldn't say he understand the reasoning behind it.

Besides, it wasn't like he going to criticize Pein's rules.   

   When he's shocked, his ponytail does the thing.

Fun fact

   On contrary belief, Deidara's hands aren't something he was born with. When he stole the kinjutsu scroll from Iwa and learned its secrets, his extra mouths were the side affects -- but, considering its uses on and off the battle field, its not like he's complaining all that much.

ϡ for a MENTAL STATE headcanon.

The calm composure he often displays himself with has become an autopilot mode for him. Long ago, he tricked himself into believing that staying calm would keep him alive, and although he's old enough to know it doesn't work that way, he still lives by it. A habit, maybe. 

☂ for a FOOD headcanon.

There used to be a joke among the Night Troops that Sen's reasonings for disappearing at night was to raid pet stores for cat nip. His false obsession for any sort of cat food has followed him around for years, but he still reacts with the same burst of annoyance as he did on day one.

   Its very easy to annoy him, but his out bursts have always been out of irritation. There’s hardly times where he gets truly angry at someone, but it does happen on occasion. There’s an obvious difference between his irks and his rage.
