Want some headcanons for the D10 tributes in the 50th games: Buck, Lannie, Stamp, Peeler :P

oh this is a delight! i’ve never given them any real thought before

buck alvarez

buck is the oldest at 18.

he’s the smallest of the four at 5’6”.

he’s the class clown and keeps everyone laughing. he’s got an infectious energy about him that people naturally gravitate to. because of that, he has a lot of friends, but none that are genuinely close to him.

he grew up in the orphanage.

his dream is to work with horses but his actual job is working in the slaughterhouse. he covers it up with humor, but he’s affected by all the death.

lannie garcia

lannie is 16.

her and peeler was friends—not close—but friends. they had a few classes together growing up and had a mutual group of friends.

lannie also works in the slaughterhouse, mainly with the cows. unlike buck, she’s not as affected by the slaughter.

she quit school as soon as she had the chance.

stamp mckinley

stamp is the youngest at 15.

despite his age, he’s well built and sturdy. he does a lot of work out in the fields. he didn’t know the other three but knew of them.

unlike the others, he’s still in school.

he has a big family and he’s the youngest of them. he has 5 older brothers. 2 of them work in the field, 1 works with horses, and 2 work in the slaughterhouse.

peeler sutton

peeler is also 16.

her and lannie’s friend group like to sneak around to the river and hang out. they have to be careful because the peacekeepers can by cruel in 10-- just depends on which one catches you.

she’s an only child so her friend group is really important to her.

peeler works with the cows and she loves it.
