Future Home of Stucco Monstrosity

Synopsis:

Seminal release by one of the greatest and even underrated bands to grace this spheres presence. Some will argue that Yank Crime was their epic, but I beg to differ greatly. This releaser just drives the point home with such ferocity and angst that even as a listener, my vocal chords are shredded. The bass for me sets the tone, then the vocals and guitars just add to the malaise. Frantic doesn't do it justice, punk rock doesn't explain it, the warm fuzzy I get while listening doesn't help me wax poetic about my emotions as I endure the onslaught of aural dominance. If you want to hear something along the lines of Fugazi meets Sebadoh meets Converge...go here. I don't think I need to mention that Pitchfork morphed into Drive Like Jehu or that Drive Like Jehu bled over into Rocket From the Crypt...do I? Listen to this on 11 and then kick yourself for never having seen them live if that's the case.

The layout is what it is. Headhunter I dont think was prepared for what this LP became and the lackluster cover is proof of that me thinks, although it is easily identifiable of what it is when one sees it, but again it does the contents NO justice what so ever.
