Individuals claiming that Christianity and metal can't coexist—what?!

A person can't be Christian and enjoy metal music? LMFAO.

What about Christian metal?

Just a heads-up: even Jesus would love some Doom Metal.

But, beyond that, whether Christian metal or mainstream—many well-known metal musicians and bands are practicing Christians.

And, in case you didn't know, Tom Araya (from Slayer) is a practicing Catholic.

Also ...

Geezer Butler, the bassist and main lyricist of Black Sabbath—the band that essentially created heavy metal—is a practicing Christian. Songs like "After Forever" are explicitly pro-Christian.

Metal is simply a style of music—characterized by heavy distortion, intricate drumming, and powerful vocals. It serves as a sonic expression, nothing more.

I'm not a practicing Christian and even my stoned a$$ knows that engaging with metal music does not compromise or conflict with one's personal spiritual beliefs.

Geesh, are some of you still stuck in the 80s Satanic Panic mindset?

I came to know of some special things Mexico has given to the world. I knew avocado 🥑 and corn 🌽 (and even popcorn!) first came from México, but I didn't know that papaya and chocolate were also first discovered here too! But did you know vanilla was found here too?! And the first colored TV was made in Mexico?! 📺🌈 Who knew? and I wouldn't be practicing Satya and keepin it real if I didn't include tequila and mezcal 🍹✨🤣 I had such a warm, welcoming, and wonderful experience connecting with Mexican people . It's a shame how their immigrants are treated here in the US and how our media and politics portrays them. The backyard of the USA is a rich culture, with a mysterious ancient history-- a paradise land with magical offerings!
