Meeting the Rider

It was dark. Quiet. The sort of night where oddly nothing loud was happening in the streets of Ikebukuro. The moon was out, and peeked through the tops of the tall buildings in town. However, there was a certain electricity in the air; one that existed in the city nearly every night. In a certain ally, however, a woman was slammed into the wall by a group of guys; They had no color or affiliation, like most thugs did in the city. They were just a few chumps that decided they wanted to mug someone. “Now, now, boys. I’d be careful if I were you.” The redheaded woman stated with a smirk. “Oh? And why the hell is that?” One of them inquired with about the same look. She allowed him to think that they had the upper hand, for the time being. “Because you picked the wrong target.” She made a clicking noise against the roof of her mouth with her tongue, while her hand reached behind her back, where another clicking noise came from. However, all their heads turned when they heard the sound of a horse.
