Where oh where is my werewolf? [[closed w/ headmistrxss]]
The anger bubbling within Ozpin was threatening to explode violently, his eyes narrowed with pain and grief as he stared over at Glynda, standing in the doorway and not allowing her entry. What was once relief and happiness at seeing her again had faded, catching sight of the sleeping child in her arms, and the agony settled deep within his heart was coming to fruit.
"...Glynda." Ozpin finally wheezed out, holding his hands against him fiercely, covering his wedding ring tightly until his hands grew white. "You...what..."
He could barely speak, staring over at her. Two years. Two entire years without his wife to stand beside him, leaving him empty and alone. Two years he scrambled and clawed back for his job, only just barely getting the title of Headmaster back once Ironwood had been killed and struck down by an assassin.
The man was forced to fight and fend for himself, to shake away any lasting signs of depression and to become a human being again. Forced to not rely on Glynda's help, but to support himself. The experience had left him cold and heartless, a selfish being as he stared at Glynda through those small lenses of his.
Certainly he had aged, his hair much lighter than it had been before she left, a new bundle of wrinkles upon his face as well as a layer of prickly hair where he had neglected to shave. A fashion statement, most likely (Glynda always hated his facial hair, yet he always desired to let it grow out). He kept that cane close to his injured leg, watching her.
"What are you doing here?" he finally spoke, his words cold and harsh. "You left me and now you come crawling back with a child in tow, that isn't even me. What is it you want from me now?"
His breath came in little wisps, the cold air biting his skin and he tightened his robe around him, frowning slightly as he stared down at the infant. When there was another harsh wind, blowing snow everywhere, the child whined and shivered violently, pressing himself tighter to his mother's chest for warmth.
