But if you remember these 6 important tips, I think you will have a better time during your fat loss phase. These tips helped me get my weight off and they help me keep it off as well. 1) Have an actual goal. A calorie deficit is the most important thing when it comes to fat loss. If you have an actual goal, you will never forget that goal and you will be reminded of it everyday! If you really want to achieve something, you will make it happen. 2) Be patient - Being patient is sooo important fat loss. Sometimes things are not going to go your way. You have to just stick with it and you will see results! 3) Be consistent - Consistency is very important for fat loss. If you are consistent with your eating and exercise habits, you will end up seeing fantastic results over time. 4) Eat plenty of protein - Protein helps keep us full and helps us maintain our muscle mass. Foods that are high in protein include chicken breast, greek yogurt, eggs, ground turkey, ground beef, tofu. 5) Eat more fruits and veggies - Fruits and veggies contain micronutrients that our bodies need. They are also low in calories and high in fiber. This will help keep you full and support your fat loss efforts. 6) Never forget your Why - Your 'why' is very important. Most people have one. Why are you losing fat? Why do you want to be healthy? Always remember your why!
