I have a question about Hearithen. Can the witches die if they are neglected too much? I tend to get worried with I'm caring for one for too long when I'm raising multiple, and when they get sick because I accidently got thier weight too high or low because I'm used to tamagotchis dying when they get sick enough times. Once I accidently left the game open when they already had empty stats, and one of my witches (a rook) had to be cured twice, which I never had happen before.
Rather than dying, they can leave if they are neglected. Or be taken away and adopted by others in their tribe, it depends on some factors.
But yeah, you can lose the witch and not be able to take care of them anymore.
I have a question about Hearithen. Does the element of your witch have a effect on how quick it loses stats?
Yes! The speed at which their stats drop also vary from witch to witch. They have individual values for how quick they become hungry or how easy it is for them to improve their magical skill without losing focus.
What kind of game engine or language did you use to make the Virtual pet, Hearithen?
Unity (the programming language is C#)
In Hearithen does the element of a witch determine how much energy and focus they lose from playing games? I've played several rounds of games with my earth witch and the meters are barely affected, while doing so with other witches affected it alot more and I was actually able to drain the meters.
Not really, each individual witch has 2 random "talent" values for Strength and Magic. When one of these values is high, they will be able to gain more of the skill associated with it without getting tired; if it's low they will get tired faster. It seems your Earth witch has high talent values!
Is there going to be a growth chart for Hearithen with the characters for each requirement listed? My Witch turned into a adult and became a Virkin, (They were a Gokin before) which I assume means average care? I did take perfect care of them but made a few mistakes, such accidently making them gain too much weight which made them sick, and once after I checked on them after caing for another witch they had empty stats and 3 poops.
Eventually, we haven't officially revealed all the characters yet.
Virkin is a perfect care adult, actually! Well done!
I have been playing Hearithen, and I really like it, but I've noticed that my witch gets lonely every time she plays the flower game, (the third game for the earth witch) no matter how much a let her socialize before playing it.
Thank you! The more social witches will get lonely faster, I recommend playing the reading game (4th game) more often than the flower one with this one. Remember not to let the Focus meter get too low!
