In Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, there is such as person called a Grand White Witch and their heart is very important. The evil witches need it for a fire immunity potion.
Following the idea of Alastor being a white witch, how about he has the heart of a Grand White Witch and using it will either give souls a powerful immunity to holy and unholy weapons/magic?
Unlike with the rest of his body, if Alastor’s heart is taken he can’t grow a new one. Alastor becomes similar to the people in the TV show Once Upon A Time where when their hearts are taken they live but become emotionally numb.
Oooh, I like it- it's also very stardust, the heart of a star giving youth and beauty.
What if it gives a massive power boost, immunity to holy weapons, possibly some other benefits - Alastor without his heart would be scary, but what if, rather then being empty and soulless, if someone takes his heart he DIES, like a normal human would?
