I mean this in the best way possible like I love it it's an amazing choice but god I want to Cry whenever I hear that song. No one should ever break up with Jane Remover

♡ EP by Jane Remover - EP review

This EP changed my life. Literally.

And I'm not joking because I finally figured out I identified as non-binary when I was streaming on repeat this project. It helped me figure out myself and how I want people to perceive me as a person.

Anyway, we could say that this EP is a change of vibe comparing to Revengeseekers, with the more pop, romantic and magical sounds that shakes you up from the inside.

Magic I Want U start up the album with a more calm but still catchy sounds that introduce the new branding of Jane musical exploration, switching to shoegaze, dariacore and finally with this new release, more pop oriented. The production is still amazing as always and I personally really like the last part:

" I like the way he use his hands and his words, i could be his new favourite thing, his favourite girl" I LOVE IT OMGGGGG

And then we have my favourite song of the project: So What? in which i feel accending heaven every time I listen to it. I already made a lyric analysis on my blog if some of you are interested. There so many emotions poured into these lyrics and their song writting ability is astounishing. I found her lyrisism very imagery and artsy, using metaphors to tell a narative.

Music Baby is probably the most popular track on the whole project, giving us a mix of jersey club (like Jane hometown lol) and the girl crush concept that Jane founds in kpop girl groups. It's catchy and absolutly heart breaking when you read the lyrics.

Flash In The Pan is surely the most relatable song because of the rage that people feel after a break up. Comparing with Revengeseekers, Jane turn a more rap, melancolic sounds instead of all the rage that is found in their previous album. It's really a big shift but it's very refreshing to see. 10/10 song to cry to sleep.

How To Teleport is the track with a more sunny vibe, we can hear some latin inspiration (knowing Jane use a lot of samples). This song takes you on a trip in your mind, travelling into new consious state.

Finally, we have Dream Sequence. Here we have Jane going back to their venturing sounds and heart shatering lyrics to close off the album with eyes drowning in tears. This song is if the act of yearning was translate into music. This song is so beautiful, truly.
