Sir Radzig and Sir Hanush resting at a road side tavern at some point after Maleshov, after Raborsch, where it just so happens the musicians George and Micheal are also resting - strumming on their new lute and rehearsing the new verses of their hit new song ‘our hero Henry’ and arguing about wether to keep the the ‘rectum’ line in, because they’ve got a lot more stanzas now from all the stories they’ve heard about Henry on the road.

And Radzig overhears this, and realises that’s his Henry they’re talking about - or at least, the version of him that’s survived in the retellings. (and maybe also hearing about some of the shit Henry’s getting up to that he would probably never admit to his noble father) but he thinks that if they’re already telling stories about his hero Henry, he ought to take the opportunity to push it in a positive direction, and make sure the story that’s told is a good one, because it is. It’s a hell of a story for an ordinary bastard.

And Radzig says that he has some stories to tell them about Henry of Skalitz; and he tells them this really tender story about a boy who overcame unbeatable odds and was loyal and good and honest in the face of it all, and he makes sure to make it a good tale, the stuff of legends.

(And then Henry has to spend the next few years/rest of his life being kinda haunted by this folk tale that’s maybe kinda helpful, maybe deeply annoying bc he’s like. Famous. And that being combo-ed with some kinda.. rebel knight who likes to try and be tricky and talk things through using deception than a fight, or sneak into enemy camps using his disguise of. Having a slight West Country accent and not being a total moron - starts getting harder when people are like hey! We know about that fucking guy! We heard the song! Everyone’s heard the song!

(Bonus Tangent; eventually Blacksmith who introduces himself as Henry and has a dog and a horse and rides through town solving problems/causing chaos is only gonna last so long before people are gonna be like. Hey remember that story of a guy called Henry who rocked up with his horse and dog one day and said he was a blacksmith and we let him do basically whatever and then lost a battle the next day? Do you think this might be the same guy? Should we let him like, do all our work for us? Should be fine.,)
