113 Londo Mollari - Babylon 5

Londo is one of my favorite characters of all time. He starts the show as a bombastic loudmouth struggling to make a mark for himself. Through a series of bad decisions he finds himself on the wrong side and then fights with all his resources to claw his way back. It’s an incredible arc that tailors a character so rounded and human I couldn’t help but love him at both his best and his worst.

I put him in his second outfit because my favorite Londo is season 4 and 5 Londo when he goes from being my favorite character in the show to being my favorite character in anything ever.

This week's Work in Progress Wednesday is a preview of the possible reawakening of the Heartblade series. For the unfamiliar, heartblades are just keyblades from Kingdom Hearts. They were originally part of another one of my epically-long-fanfics that never got written in which every KH world has a guardian that is the Heartblade weilder... so not the same rules as Sora's Keyblade. Of course in modern KH continuity anyone and their dog can have a Keyblade and probably does so yet another reason why I'm glad I didn't spend the time on that fic. That and the fact that the keyblade designs were the part I liked best anyway so it really was better off as an image series. The qualificatons for who gets to be a Heartblade weidler is very simple. You're my favorite character in something. That's it. My favorite character gets a Keyblade. If I really REALLY like a thing my second favorite character gets one too. With that criteria in mind, it's been a WHILE since I returned to this series and I have amassed many characters who fit this so I'm considering bringing this series back to life as either an Inktober or Artvember list. We'll see.

following up on the tag question, any suggestions on how to tag?? GIRL IM STILL CONFUSED ASF 😭

Hmm... I found one very detailed post explaining the general concept of tags if you'd like to check out. I'll share some things I learned from my experience here :>

I recognized that my works have been tagged in my own pattern thus far and I'm sure all blogs also have a pattern of their own. You'll figure it out as you keep tagging, don't worry. If we're talking about reader-insert fanfics, then it's appropriate to tag it like : [insert character] x reader or, [insert character] x you. If you're making your fic gender specific, then it's also recommended to add that in the first tag example (if you haven't already stated it at the beginning of your post, but still adding that in the tags is most advised). Make sure these tags are at the top.

You can also tag your post with what kind of writing it is e.g. hcs, imagines, concepts, drabbles, interactions, au. If your work contains sensitive content, then you can state that in the tags with tw/cw. [for example, tw: blood] No need to censor the warning again by using alternative letters [bl00d], that doesn't work. It takes some time for new posts to appear in the tags, so don't panic if you don't see it there, wait and if you see that it's still not appearing after quite some time, then you can contact Tumblr. (Happened to me twice, one time they responded and fixed it and another I had to repost 💀)

112 Agent Francis York Morgan - Deadly Premonition

Deadly Premonition is an odd little game. It’s got a fantastic “living” town full of people with their own relationships and schedules, but the thing the game REALLY has going for it is this guy right here. York is a quirky FBI special agent who has a memory for film trivia, divines the future from coffee, and fights zombies with his friend Zach who may or may not be imaginary. If you love a compelling paranormal mystery and don’t mind suffering the clunky controls, I recommend Deadly Premonition. It’s a game I sure won’t forget.

111 Urdnot Wrex - Mass Effect

We meet Wrex as a bounty hunter at the beginning of the first game, and learn throughout three games about his passion and his potential. Wrex is jaded, but deep down longs for the glory of his people. He’s crushed by the defeat the krogan faced at the hands of the other races, and joining Shepard’s quest, he finds the courage to lead his people through their reconstruction.

I loved Wrex dearly in my playthrough of the game. He was a tough nut, but even though he and my Jame Shepard disagreed on almost everything, they stuck together on every away mission. They were so happy to see each other again, and she was immensely proud of him :) His keychain is his family armor as a symbol of that.

110 Otacon - Metal Gear Solid

Do you believe love can bloom even on the battlefield? Otacon can, and he keeps trying to find it even though all he and Snake’s adventures usually end in personal tragedy for him. If Snake is who Kojima’s target audience WANTS to be, Otacon is who the target audience actually is -- and he is all the braver for it. A man with no special training doing his best to keep up with international conspiracy at risk to himself, his work, and his loved ones.
