sherlock loves feeling john’s heavy weight on top of him, it just feels so comforting; whenever john is sleeping sherlock will squeeze into bed next to him and tug john over until he’s all warmth and sweet pressure on top of sherlock’s chest and sherlock will sigh with happiness and press a kiss to john’s forehead before snuggling his face into john’s neck to sleep
imagine if sherlock and john inherited a parrot from a client and lestrade comes by about a case but sees the bird and is all like “ooh does he talk?” and john says “oh yeah, he knows the really important phrases” and then the parrot literally screams “HARDER JOHN, HARDER!” and sherlock turns 50 shades of red while john just sits there smirking
is there anything more perfectly domestic and sweet than john pressing soft kisses to sherlock’s bare shoulders as he passes him by in the kitchen and sherlock reaching out to grab john’s hand to pull him back in for a good morning kiss?? no, no there is not.
