Looking for asks, perhaps? Here are a few!! What books/movies/comics/media/music where your favorites as a kid or young person? Any that you think influenced you today? What is something odd or unique that you love unashamedly? What are you super pumped about in the near (or far!) future?
So many asks in one! Thank you, I'll try to answer them as best as I can. Growing up, I was a reader. More specifically, I loved and still love fantasy. I grew up with series like Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Warrior Cats, Redwall, anything with dragons. Basically if it involved animals and a fantasy setting, I was onboard. They were a kind of escape from a pretty strict home life, and I got to a point where I could read entire books in one sitting.
As far as other media is concerned, most of that has come since I became a young adult. I love animation and will always have soft spots for Avatar and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Unashamed things I love... I think I'd have to say that I love seeing and supporting people being their true selves, finding their passions, or reaching their goals. I've just always enjoyed seeing people I care about do well, now that I've begun trying to be my truest self, I think its become even more important to me. Call me a support character I guess!
As for the near future, I'm pumped to be moving cross country and starting a new career! I graduate my masters program in a few weeks and then its off I go! In the far future, I look forward to the day when I can be more openly myself to people close to me.
