some of the happiest moments in zeus’ life were during his honeymoon with hera.  relatively low responsibility, no wars, time with the woman he loves -- how could he not look back on that period with fondness, regardless of where their marriage sits now?  it was the first time he didn’t feel guilty about metis, and the first time the stress of his newfound king hood wasn’t overwhelming.  regardless of what came before and after, zeus was pretty happy during that time.

I feel like Zeus being a god, doesn’t really believe in fate / destiny. HOWEVER, having god(des)s(es) of fate, in Greek mythology, I believe he feels afraid of fate. it's not something that he can control and he loves control. 

Rethinking about it, I have a feeling that Zeus would be the type that says he doesn’t believe in fate, and he’d be the type to fight it if someone told him that he was fated / destined to fail. Yet, on the other hand, he’d use it as an excuse for his escapades. In other words, if it suits him, he’ll use it to his full capacity, if not, “it doesn’t exist, you’re insane.”.
