finally continueing on hearthrope since I was so smart to pour water on my laptop a few days ago (thanks to that my g and h buttons are misbehaving) but it’s mostly working now again

also I think I told this the last time but thanks to a malware I had to redo everyting from scratch

so new are the ramps and the colors for oranisation purposes

for starters:

rose: market - the city part will be called New Manmar

light red: magic guild - Cross Porter

orange: University - Federal glade

dark pink: Palace - Lord Court

blue: Temple

light purple: Pier/Dock and the City gates

dark red: guards (head)Quarters and Prison

light green: farms / mills / stables

dark purple: huts and natives

light gray: random (homes)

dark gray: aristocrats homes

I don’t have names for every city part yet

The new Hearthrope terrain since my recent work is lost after all

I thought a bit more about why the terraces and why people build a town there

Sooo

the lake you can see is part of a magic water spring inside the mountain (which also has lots of caves) with healing effects and lots of magicians and witches etc. went/going there seeking for wisdom.

the locals believe it's a gift from the earth goddess bested on their savior (I'll explain the god/magic system another time ) and befriended those who wanted to stay thus the Lil village grew into a city

the first two Hearthrope Citizen I wanna introduce:

Sophie and Luther, such a sweet Couple <3

Sophie is a trans girl in her mid 20s and a librarian. She is a bit shy but reliable and diligent.

Luther is a Titan descendant, which explains his 4 arms, also in his mid 20s and a policeman. Always has a pun on hand, espacially when his girlfriend needs a little distraction from her insecurities

Sophies Outfit (or the idea for this drawing in general) was inspired by this lovely woman

Hey so I guess I should introduce myself

What you see here is the current status of my sketchup version of Hearthrope, a fictional city I came up with. It may not look like much right now but since I mostly use buidlings from the warehouse, change them up a bit and that place them in the terrain file, it’s actually a long procedure which I’m already working on for a few weeks.

The grey parts already have a purpose/ buidlings, dark green are fields (obviously) and the purple ones will be forests. the pale green are not decided yet.

So why am I showing you this?

You see, this City will fill up with more and more Citizen (OC) that will interact, also it’s not just buidling but drawing them/the City too, since this is more of a base to make it easier for me to draw.

So check in every now and then to get to know them, I’ll be happy about your visits :)
