                 VICIOUS   PROTEST   MADE   ITSELF   KNOWN   IN   BOWELS   OF   BELLY   at the mere mention of food, but peter wasn’t WHOLLY convinced. ❛ no offense man —– but dairy queen is so much better.  ❜ pursed lips signified his version of UNDERSTANDING, and he clasped tony’s shoulder as he nodded. ❛ but you know what? that makes a lotta sense. you look exactly like a BURGER KING kinda guy.  ❜ another unrelenting protest of hungering --------- and peter’s eyes narrowed slightly as he grinned. ❛ so instead of going with your totally LAME plan, we go with my plan and get burgers AND ice cream at the greatest fast food joint on terra and no - it’s not burger king. it’s dairy queen. always dairy queen.  ❜

The shield was heavy in his hands. Heavy with things unseen, unsaid, and a certain kind of weariness settled over him. Steve didn’t regret becoming Captain America.
