[[ Truth be told there were some raised questions when his feathers started coming in. Naturally, Teba was born in Rito Village, his parents both being Dusky hawks, both of which are still alive. They waited the day for their child to hatch, taking turns in caring for the egg. It is an exciting time for a new generation to come into the world even if in danger. The pair listened to his peeps while breaking out of the egg, tiny body taking breaks to breathe. As much as they wanted to assist, they knew they couldn’t interfere. Baby had to do this on his own. As soon as he was free, they wrapped the red hatchling up to keep him safe from the cold as his feathers hadn’t grown in.

They named the little one Teba, meaning wings, and weren’t surprised that his downy feathers started out puffy white. This was expected once he was just a few days old. However, brows began to rise when his flight feathers came in ... and they were still white. Dark grey with deep brown would have been mildly surprising but, a white offspring from them? Accusations of unfaithfulness were immediately shut down as there were no other white Ritos. A case of albinism was suspected but, since Teba opened with citrine eyes, the reason behind his unique coloration was a mystery.

how did he even end up in a situation like this... whoever this skull kid was, they were just that. a kid. and although teba hated wasting time and would rather be training or spending time with his family, he’s still as patient as one could be when trying to keep a lost youngling safe for the night. he settled for camping; they were near the village already. and he’d fly them directly there but with their overall attitude and energy... that seemed like more of a risk.

[[ He grew up as a single chick however, he didn’t grow up alone. Some time passed after his hatching and near by his hut, another chick had been born. A small black corvid by the name of Harth. They quickly began a sibling like relationship, often seen together playing with the other children. When one was found, the other wasn’t too far behind. Not the best idea when it came to games like hide and seek but the important part was that they had fun. The Ebony and Ivory Duo, some would say based and on their complete contrast in color, despite Teba himself having some dark feathers on his back.

Yes, he grew up as an only child but, he never wished for siblings since he felt as if he already had one. They had been through thick and thin, competing together, defending the village, helping with Harth’s family trade, Harth noticing Teba’s personality changing, Teba attending Harth’s wedding and vice versa, Teba offering assistance with Molli once Harth lost his wife. With Tulin and Molli, both single hatchlings, he sees the cycle repeating as they have been playing often together. It’s one of the things which can bring a smile to his face. ]]

(Just wanted to say I have a lot of fun rping with you. We might not do it so much anymore since the A hat in time rpc dried up. But i had fun and miss those times..This year has been a long one and I hope that it gets better for all of us.I'll always be around to rp anytime you want!)

((Aww, thank you! I’m glad you’ve been having fun with the stuff we’ve done~! Yeah, it’s kind of a shame that the rpc has fallen to the wayside, but that’s why I’ve chosen to branch out and make AUs with the Conductor. That way I can have him interact with more fandoms and still get to use the crabby old man that I love so dearly~

Hoo boy, you’re definitely right about this year being LONG. I’m sure every one of us can agree on that. I’m hoping that 2021 will bring us some better times than 2020 did. While there were some lovely things that did happen this year, there were sadly a lot of things that were quite sour that happened as well. It’s been rough, but we can get through this as long as we all stick together.
