My hearing isn't the best, so I rely on closed captioning. I WISH they would acknowledge Mr. Tate. Mr. Tate being the Benefactor? Now THAT would be a twist.
Ah, gotcha. :)
I just wish they would acknowledge he exists. Like, I can understand if that actor's unavailable, because I know Todd Stashwick's a pretty good character actor who always seems to be working on something, but the character himself should still merit an occasional mention. His daughter was missing for years and now that she's back she's spent weeks sneaking out to sleep at someone else's house. Honestly, he's a empty space in the narrative and it's really frustrating.
Not to mention, we're talking about a guy who was really upset when the Sheriff decided to reopen his family's case. Pairing that with his insistence on killing the coyotes on his land? That could easily turn into him knowing damn well what Malia is, and not only wanting revenge on beings like her, but also being angry enough to want to take her down as well because she's not really his daughter, she's just some dangerous interloper who killed his wife and his other (theoretically) biological daughter.
And as questionable as it would have been, I could see Jeff Davis attempting to "redeem" Peter on some level by having him save her life when Mr. Tate inevitably attacks her.
