A little less attitude, a little more altitude.. I’ve been neck deep in commissions, clothes, life and it’s been so great. I took a break the other day to get this baby out of my head. I typically don’t do Alaskana stuff and this still doesn’t fall into that category. However, I knew I wanted to create a mountain graphic with a Phoebe twist. You could say that •overall• I’m pretty pleased 😬😜 I found a photo on Pinterest and decided I needed to paint it. This design might become a postcard sooner than later. I’d love to tell you that I packed my watercolors, got in my car, found a sunny spot to paint and spent some time with myself. I’d love to tell you that it was such a nice day, I couldn’t stand being inside anymore. But if we’re being honest, I totally painted this at 2am the other night because my soul was drowning in emails, screens, digital art and a lack of chocolate. I went to sleep happy and woke up ready to tackle commissions. After I drove around to take this photo, of course.. and coffee. Sooo excited about these commissions, logos, and all the goodness you’ll see soon!! side note: who’s ready for some more pieces of the “Heart of Phoebe Hand-Painted” clothing line?! Fun fact: Quite a few people prefer to say “cactuses” in lieu of “cacti”, myself being one of them. I had a fun time painting this cactus piece.
