@heartsdefine liked for a one liner.
"I gave you my answer."
@heartsdefine gets a plotted thing for Lin
Sometimes, the Doctor wonders if their TARDIS is holding some sort of grudge against them. They had wanted to go to this planet called Signion where they could roam about its lush fields, maybe touch some grass, but she's taken them to what looks like... well, Maine. The biting wind carries with it the smell of the Atlantic, and the amount of shops they pass selling lobster gives the place away well before they pass a sign bearing the name of the small town.
Now, the Doctor would have left, but given the location they figured a bit of fresh lobster might do them some good. It's not until they overhear the locals chattering away about a library on the outskirts of town that they figure they should probably stick around. Because, you see, they thought they'd passed the library already- tiny little thing, looked like it could use some serious love- but the locals spoke of this one like it was a godsend.
With their interest piqued, the Doctor decides that they'd like to visit this super-library which always seemed to have whatever people were looking for, because for a tiny town like this, that kind of thing simply doesn't happen. They set out on their way to the library on the outskirts of town, but they never expected what they'd find.
The first thing they notice upon approaching the library is the size of it. Now, the Doctor certainly isn't one for judging a building by its outer shell, but they'd expect that a human library that's meant to have anything you might be looking for would be a bit bigger than this. They stand in front of its entrance, a feeling of unease washing over them, but still they enter. It's strange, the shiver that runs up their spine as soon as they get inside: it's both familiar and a little bit terrifying at the same time.
This place is a TARDIS. They've traveled with their old girl for long enough to know what one feels like on the inside, even when they're powered down, and this is undoubtedly one of them. Their hearts pound in their chest, like they're trying to jump right out. Not so long ago, they'd held hope in those hearts only to have it shattered by the Master, and now they've found a TARDIS? They're starting to show visible signs of their slight panic, striding through the sleeping time machine, when they run right into someone.
"Blimey! So, so sorry to run into you like that, this place, it's-" they stare at the woman they've run into, brow furrowed. They can't feel any sort of Time Lord presence here, but they know well that that doesn't mean anything. "Are you... the librarian?"
@heartsdefine didn't like my starter call but you get a thing anyway. :)
Hel stalked quick and quiet, weaving through the trees and avoiding branches and leaves on the forest floor as she stealthed by. Everything would have moved smoothly were it not for the elf pressed to the tree a mere hundred meters ahead. The redhead frowned deeply as she caught Tauriel's eyes and slowly turned her head as if to ask, 'what are you doing?'
This band of Orcs was notorious. Violent and devastating to all who's path they crossed. It didn't stand to reason that there was a lone elf tracking them too.
Her heart rate picked up as a bead of worry pressed heavily on her chest. She mouthed the words, "Why are you here?" to the other woman.
If she had had more sense, she would've used her รณsanwe to communicate but she was so caught off guard that didn't even occur to the Valiรซ.

"It's Captain Sutherland now." Balfour wasn't sure how long it had been since the last handful of times Lin had seen him. For him, it had been years. For her? Who knew. It had been a long time since he thought he should keep track of those who travelled with the Doctor. Though, it hadn't slipped his notice that they were down a Scot and a nurse. "And I'm not here for niceties, I'm afraid. You need to come with me."

Kotallo watched her until she finally agreed. He gave a small nod and stepped closer, eyes immediately looking over her wound.
"You should have asked for aid when you got back," the Tenakth stated quietly as he took the needle. Carefully placing a hand upon her shoulder around the wound whilst studying the cut to make sure of the best way to stitch it.
